Party in Your PJs #90

Welcome to Party in Your PJs!

SNOW SNOW SNOW!  We are getting snow here in Central Missouri!  It is still coming done, but not hard, and they are calling for 3-4 inches of it when it is all said and done...and more coming in on Thursday.  I love snow...if I could sit in my house under a warm blanket with a cup of coffee binge watching crappy Reality TV.  When I have to get up at 5 am...and drive 30 miles to work with drivers who lack all common sense...NOT SO MUCH!  Come on people..it is snow...slow down and drive like you have a brain and we all will be safe!

Let's get this party started!

Mini Heart Cookies in a Cute Bucket

I made Valentine Cookies this weekend...I think these are the first cookies I have made since I made Christmas cookies.  Oh how I miss making cookies every weekend.  When we started building our house, I took a break from cookies..we moved in a year ago...and I have not built up my customer base to where it used to be.  Part of me is sad about that...part of me is totally OK, not having the pressure of having to bake and decorate cookies all weekend and after getting home from work each night.  Women...are we ever happy?

Anyway...I decided to keep things simple this year...single color mini hearts...what is not to love about mini cookies?

I found these cute little buckets at The Dollar Tree...and two dozen mini cookies fit in there perfectly!

Well...that is that...short sweet little post...for simple sweet little cookies...

Until next time...

Party in Your PJs #88

Welcome to Party in Your PJs!

Happy Tuesday!  I feel like my life, especially my blogging life has been in "phone in " mode for months.  I am not sure if it is the winter, or stuff going on in my personal life, but my motivation to blog has been ZERO.  Honestly, this link party is the only thing that has kept me even  a little bit motivated to blog, if hosting a weekly link party could be considered blogging.  I am trying to get back to baking and crafting regularly, but I want you all to know that I thank you so much for coming each week, it means the world to me!

Let's get this party started!

Puzzle Piece Valentine's Day Wreath

Do you have one of those projects that you have wanted do to for years?  Like, you saw it in Pinterest, and loved it...and went the next day and got all the supplies to make it...then you brought it home, put the stuff away...life happened and you don't do it.  Yeah...me too..we could be twins...really we could...we must have been..because this very scenario has happened to me more then I would care to admit...even to you...my forgotten craft twin.

So....a few weeks ago....I FINALLY made that "oh...I want to make that" craft projects...and I am now not sure WHY I waited so long to make it...and WHEN I can make another one.

I took a 500 piece puzzle that I picked up from The Dollar Tree....a chipboard wreath from Hobby Lobby and some craft paint I had in my stash, and made a puzzle piece Valentine's Day Wreath.

I simply laid out the puzzle pieces, picture side down, and painted them.  I painted the majority of the pieces white and pink, and only a small amount of them red.  Once they were all dry, I used my hot glue gun to attach the puzzle pieces to the wreath form.  I just pick up a piece and glued it on....and just kept going until I used them all...trying to be random and layering as I went.  I had the Heart Ribbon in my stash also, so I used that to create a hanger for the wreath...boom all done.

This was a really fun and simple project to do, and I am already thinking about what puzzle wreath to do next...after all...puzzles mean so much to me, I love to be surrounded by them!

Party in Your PJs #87

Welcome to Party in Your PJs!

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone has found our little party again and ready to link up your posts.  The party is back in full swing now, after a much needed break.

2015 has come and gone...and I am so happy to start the new year fresh.  2015 was a pretty rough year for us ( my family), I won't go into it here, but keep us in your prayers.  We have faced things that rocked us to the core, but are all doing well and good now.  Prayer and Medicine are amazing things, and thanks to those two things...our little family is going to have an amazing year.

So...let's party shall we!  Since the party took a few weeks off...I will not have any features this week..but next week, I will be sharing the best of the best from this weeks party!
